At TrenStar we source and supply a multitude of different scanning tools to work in conjunction with our barcode and RFID offerings. The scanners are programmed by TrenStar and are can be leased on a hire-as-you-require basis. This model negates the need for a large capital layout and takes seasonal fluctuations into account. TrenStar and its subsidiary Roan Systems offers scanning devices that range from basic scanners to RFID-reading scanners, GPS-enabled scanners that are aware of their location and even GPRS-enabled scanners that deliver the scanned information directly to TrenStar or your servers. TrenStar’s experience in sourcing, customising, programming and monitoring scanners has found application in many different uses and countries. Scanners become the mobile eyes for TrenStar’s CM-system and also allow users new functionality, such as linking products to containers, tracking products in remote areas and reading RFID-tags remotely on moving trucks.
